Dr. Fan: Founder of RuMedical Nova Joins Board of Directors of AIMBE

Dr. D. Emma Fan, founder of RuMedical Nova and professor in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at UT Austin’s Cockrell School of Engineering, has been elected to serve as Director-at-Large on the Board of Directors of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).

Elected by over 2,000 AIMBE Fellows nationwide, Dr. Fan joins a group of distinguished leaders who are driving the future of medical and biological engineering through innovation, advocacy, and impact. “We are excited to welcome these new leaders to AIMBE’s Board of Directors,” said AIMBE President Lola Eniola-Adefeso. “Their diverse expertise and dedication will help shape the future of biomedical innovation and advocacy.”
